N. amyae

  • Print
 Scientific Name: Nephrurus amyae  {mosimage}
 Geographic Location: Central Australia
Available: Sorry, nothing available. Contact me for breeder recommendation.

Comments: This is the largest species in the genus. The Centralian Knob-tailed Gecko is a very robust and spiny gecko. Found in rocky ranges in Central Australia, this species is not the burrower that the Smooth Knob-tails are. Coloration ranges from brick-red to orange with light areas and dark reticulations. This gecko has the largest head and smallest tail of all members in the genus.
